Poco has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone. It has so far hinted on a higher refresh rate possibly 120Hz. Now a new Poco smartphone has appeared on the FCC website revealing some of its key specifications.
The Poco smartphone on FCC carries the model number M2007J20CG. The listing reveals the Poco branding at the rear and the camera module cutout as well. It’s a circular camera design similar to the Poco X2. This hints at the possibility that it could be the Poco X3. The schematic also mentions “64MP AI super camera” confirming that the phone will house a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Overall, it could be a quad camera setup.
More details in the listing show that this Poco phone will pack a 5,160mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. This is an upgrade over the Poco X2 which has a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging speed. The new Poco phone will also come with 4G support and Bluetooth 5.1. The 64MP camera and 33W charging speed have been rumoured earlier for the new Poco phone.
There’s no official teaser yet for the upcoming Poco phone but the company’s global spokesperson Angus Kai Ho Ng has been dropping some hints. He has so far confirmed that a new Poco phone is coming soon. Poco X2 already supports 120Hz so this one will most likely support it too. But the difference here would be an AMOLED panel and not LCD like the Poco X2. The new Poco phone is said to offer 120Hz refresh rate on an AMOLED display. Poco is also pitting its new phone with the OnePlus Nord which is available in India at ₹24,999.
