Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calendar, that is, the beginnings of Islamic New Year begins with Muharram only. This is the beginning of September 21 this year. Islamic or Arabic calendar is based on the Moon, so in less than 10 days every year compared to the English calendar, and every month goes behind 10 days. Muharram is considered the holiest month after Ramadan in the Islamic year.
What is the importance of Muharram
According to Muslim historians, the month of Muharram is special in many ways. One in this month, Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sahib had to leave his birth place, Mecca, and go to Medina, which is called Hazrat, the second Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hussein and his family members took place this month, and in this month the Muslim ruler of Egypt Firahan Including the Red Sea.
Allah has protected his Prophet Hazrat Musa and his followers. The word Muharram is made up of 'Haram' or 'Huramat' which means 'Stopped' or 'Forbidden'. In the month of Muharram, it has been advised to stop the war and avoid evil.
The beliefs of Muharram have come from the history of the Muslims. As is well known that after a few years of the death of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, Muslims were divided into two gangs. A gang was formed with the members of his family, which was known by the name of Shi'a, and the second gang began to advocate the Sunnah of the Prophet, which later became Sunni. Shi'a Muslims, where there is mourning in the first 10 days of Muharram, Sunni Muslims hold rites of 9th, 10th and 11th times.
There are also historical reasons behind these roses. When Hazrat Mohammad Sahib started preaching his religion, he said that he did not bring any new religion, but Allah, the religion which Allah, Abraham, Suleiman, Moses and Jesus had advocated for the same religion, therefore everyone should return to their right path. . The common people of Mecca have been influenced by their simplicity and truth, they have adopted their religion in large numbers. This matter was not liked by the ruling class of Mecca. They thought that Muhammad was gathering the people and hurting them against them, and one day they would take him out of the cottage and become the king of Mecca.
To prevent Muhammad Sahib, the rulers of Mecca gave them various temptations but they did not lose their way. In this way the rulers of Mecca created a conspiracy to murder Muhammad Sahib. But Allah's messenger Gabriel Firishte told this thing to the Prophet Muhammad, and this Allah's will also told them that now they should leave Mecca and leave the people of Medina.
Muhammad Sahib sacked his cousin Ali on his bed and left for Medina. This journey is called Hijrat and this incident was presented in this month of Muharram. Later, Hazrat Ali, who was also the son-in-law of Muhammad Sahab (husband of Bibi Fatima) also became the fourth Khalif of Islam and his son Hajrat Hussain and his family Muharram was martyred in the month
According to historians, when Prophet Mohammad Sahib went to Medina with the help of Mecca, he knew that the Jews of Medina kept the 10th day of Muharram. Hajrat Muhammad Saheb asked why he did this so that it came to know that these people used to pray for the protection of Fir'aun as Hazrat Musa and his followers, and pray to Allah.
Hajrat Muhammad Saheb said to his people that we are closer to Moses, so from now on we will also keep this ritual and give the advice of two days to the Jews as a ritual, to their followers. Since then, Muslims keep two days' rites in the Muharram 9, 10 and 11.
Shia-Sunni both have Muharram
In Shi'a Muslims, it is not a tradition of fasting, but they are weaned up to 10th day from the first date of Muharram and it is done on the day of Yomme Ashura (hunger-thirsty). During this time his body is injured by knives, knives and spears. The hairs are hammered on the chest. In the Persian, cheating and sorrowful song is called Nohakhvani.
In fact, by doing so, it is said to try to understand, understand and feel the sadness and misery that the Prophet Nasim Hazrat Hussain and his family felt. All these events in history are known by the name of Karbala's kayak. This historic event is remembered as one of the most painful events of Islam. These pain is the common pain of all Muslims. Shia hay or Sunni every Muslim remembers this sentence and it is not only imagined by the imagination of the gossip, but the eyes of the tears are extinguished, and its lips are said to be babbling, We were not Ahsan '.
Despite the beginnings of the new year of Muharram, it is not a celebration but a month of anger and anger, and the tenth day of Yomme Asura, meaning Muharram, is the day of waiting for this sorrow.
