UPATE: WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook have all gone down in a major outage.
The social media apps which are all owned by Facebook Inc, and run on shared infrastructure completely stopped working shortly before 5pm across the world. Now also having issue since 9:15 PM still in progress.
