Not just Galaxy M31s, Samsung is working on two new mid-range phones, Galaxy A42 and Galaxy M51

Samsung is working on a Galaxy M51 phone with a mammoth 7,000mAh battery. There is also a Galaxy A42 in the works. Here is what you need to know about these two upcoming Samsung smartphones.

Samsung is set to launch its next mid-range phone in India on July 30. Called Galaxy M31s, the new phone will have a large 6,000mAh battery, AMOLED display, and 64-megapixel quad-camera setup. Galaxy M31s, however, may not be the only powerful mid-range phone from Samsung that is coming soon. According to reports, the company is working on a Galaxy M51 and a Galaxy A42.

First up is Samsung Galaxy M51. The phone is said to come with a 64-megapixel camera along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Sammobile reports the phone will come with Single Take, a camera mode that lets you shoot photos and videos simultaneously. The mode has been so far been exclusive to premium and select mid-range Galaxy phones.

Another big highlight of Galaxy M51 is going to be a whopping 7,000mAh battery. This will also be the highest ever battery capacity on a Samsung phone. The battery, however, is said to support an underwhelming 15W charging. Overall, the phone is said to come with a large 6.7-inch sAMOLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor.

That said, Samsung’s Galaxy A42 is going to be equally powerful. It will also come with 5G support. So far, very few Galaxy A series phones have 5G support. According to a 91Mobiles report, Samsung Galaxy A42 5G will have a 5,000mAh battery and 128GB built-in storage. The phone will be available in white, grey, and black colour options. The phone is expected to launch in early 2021.
