About Telangana State (TS):
Telangana State is a newly formed state and named it as the 29th state of south India on 2nd June 2014.
It has an area of 114,840 Square Km (44,340 sq. mi), and a population of 35,286,757 (according to 2011 census), it ranked as 12th largest state in the southern region. Mostly the area is a part of the Hyderabad Medak and Warangal which was ruled by the nizams during British raj before the year 1947. IN 1956 Andhra state was merged with Telangana region when Hyderabad as the state to form Andhra Pradesh.
After the success in Telangana movement, the central government stated 29th state of south India as Telangana. And India consisting of the ten north-western districts of Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad as its Joint capital for 10 years. It means Hyderabad will be served as a joint capital for both the state for 10 years until 2024.

Telangana State is boarded by the Andhra Pradesh to the south and east, state of Maharashtra to the north and north-west, the state of Karnataka to the west and state of Chhattisgarh to the north-east.
Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Ramagundam are the major cities in Telangana.

The newly formed telangana state consists of ten districts as follows and cm kcr stated that new districts would be added soon.
Telangana is a state in southern India. It has an area of 114,840 km2 and is the twelfth largest state in India.

Telangana is the 29th state of India, formed on the 2nd of June 2014. The state has an area of 1,14,840 Sq Km and has a population of 3,52,86,757. The Telangana region was part of the Hyderabad state from Sept 17th 1948 to Nov 1st 1956, until it was merged with Andhra state to form the Andhra Pradesh state.
After decades of movement for a separate State, Telangana was created by passing the AP State Reorganization Bill in both houses of Parliament. Telangana is surrounded by Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh in the North, Karnataka in the West and Andhra Pradesh in the South and East directions. Major cities of the state include Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad and Karimnagar.

History of word Or Etymology:

The word Telangana was derived from the word Trilinga according to Hindu legend form of Shiva lingam from a three mountains.
  1. Kaleshwaram
  2. Srisailam and
  3. Draksharama.
This marked the boundaries of the Trilingadesa, later it was called as Telinga, then Telunga and now it’s Telugu.
The name Telangana was natives of a Telugu-speaking region at Hyderabad state from its Marathi speaking one Marathwada.
Earliest uses of a word similar to Telangana can be seen in a name of Malik Maqbul in (14th century C.E.). Who was called the Tilangani, which implies that he was from Tilangana known as the commander of Great Warangal Fort.

Merge of Telangana Region with Andhra Pradesh:

It’s a black day to Telangana region in December 1953 state reorganization commission (SRC) was administrate to form states on language bases.
It’s forced to merge with Andhra and Telangana state because of Andhra leader’s politics on 20th February 1956 and it became as Andhra Pradesh a Telugu people state.
Then the gentlemen’s agreement act of 1956 was published by the central government to establish a unified ANDHRA PRADESH on November 1st, 1956.

After Andhra Pradesh from November 1st, 1956 to June 1st, 2014:

All the water, coal and what ever Telangana produced was taken by Andhra and the projects benefits only for Andhra region.
Then the entire Telangana suffered a lot with out water, no agriculture production, all the wells were get dried and many more..
It’s Completely Black days for Telangana region than finally they wanted to get the Telangana state back in 1969.

Telangana Movement History:

The First Telangana Movements started in 1969 more than 300 peoples have died due to Andhra leaders politics.- No USE.
Then After that once again the Telangana movement started in 2009 November 29th by the king legend Mr. Kalvakuntla. Chandra Shekhar Rao well known as KCR. Finally Telangana Formed on 2nd June 2014 with 10 Districts.

Bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh:

According to Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014 bill was passed by the parliament of India for the formation of Telangana state, with 10 districts.
The hyderabad will be the joint capital of both states for a long period of 10 years.
The bill received by the president and published in the gazette on 1st March 2014.

Formation of Telangana State:

The Telangana State officially formed on 2nd June 2014. It’s Greatest Achievement of Telangana people ever.

The Telangana song:

“Jaya Jaya he Telangana” song has chosen as the state song of Telangana and played more than 160 celebrations across the state.

Elections in 2014:

Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao was elected as First Chief Minister of Telangana State.

Geography of Telangana State:

The area covered by Telangana is 114,800 square kilometers (44,300 sq. mi).
Most of the land is arid and the major rivers were drained as 79% of Godavari River and 69% of Krishna River and nearly 5 districts of Telangana were under forest area of about 45%.

Muslims celebrate the Islamic festivals of Ramzan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Muharram, Mawlid, and peerla Panduga.
Christians celebrate Christmas, and observe Good Friday.

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC),
Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (M.G.B.S) in Hyderabad this is the largest bus stand in Asia.
Asia’s biggest Inter City Bus Terminal (ICBT) is being built in Miyapur (Hyderabad) nearly 200 bus bays and 1000 buses for parking.

Railways:

It is from Nizams of Hyderabad in 1874 it could take by South Central Railway founded in 1966.

Airports:

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad was the largest airport nationwide.
The Government of Telangana State planned to have an Airport at Warangal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Ramagundam, and Kothagudem.
The Warangal airport planning was established in the year 1930 during Nizam period and used for the Import and Export of Azam Jahi Mills (Textile Factory).

Education in Telangana:

The Official language of Telangana (Mother Tongue) is Telugu.
Even some schools were of CBSE or ICSE up to 10th as well as SSC board.
